Secure Your Safety Pipe!

As part of the UhrSecure Safety System, the red safety nut will align the cartridge and safety pipe to the center of the barrel. Since it sticks out of the end of the barrel it serves as a visual indicator that a live round cannot be chambered into the firearm. 

A safety nut is included in the SureStrike™ kits and in the SureStrike™ adapter kit.

Must be used with a long, short, or subcompact safety pipe.

although this is described as a visual safety indicator, I've found its a critical piece to ensure the extension that screws into the laser and traverses the barrel is properly aligned. without it, the extension rod wobbles inside the barrel making it impossible to align.

From what I have seen the IR flashes and counts on P1, but does not show where you hit. The red laser shows where you hit, but does not count on P1. Is that correct? See more »

The only difference between our SureStrike laser (IR v Red) is the IR can not be seen by the human eye, but the red you can. Both will activate the targets when hit.
Red = visible; Infrared/IR = invisible

LaserPET is more of the general name. We started with the LaserPET I, which we no longer sell on our site but the new and improved version is the LaserPET II, which is the only one we sell on our site. Hope that helps, but let us know if you have more specific questions.

I have a 6 shot revolver and you indicated I would need to buy 6 laser or IR cartridges to use with your electronic target. Do you offer a total package price? See more »

Sorry, we don't have a package for the 5 or 6 lasers and a target. We only have a package for the 5 pack lasers and the 6 pack lasers.
So you would get the 6 SureStrike lasers, price would depend if you wanted the Red or IR lasers and just add the LaserPET to that.

No, our targets will only work with our lasers as noted in our product description: The LaserPET™ II is designed to work with our Red or Infrared SureStrike™ laser cartridges only*, for safe and accurate laser training with your handgun, rifle or shotgun! (*Please note that other company’s laser trainers will not activate the LaserPET II, with the exclusion of CoolFire)

Our lasers work on other targets, but other lasers don't work on our targets. This is because our targets are specific to modulated lasers, and our modulation has been offered to other companies to get their lasers to work with our targets, but short of Cool Fire Trainer, they have declined.
