The SureStrikeTM emits an eye safe (Class 1) shot of visible Red or invisible IR laser light, giving the shooter an immediate feedback when hitting the reflective targets (included with the Red laser only) and / or one of our electronic targets/simulators, transforms regular dry fire into a powerful training session.
The SureStrikeTM Laser is made in Israel, built from a stainless steel body, a high quality glass lens laser and a programed controlled action cap - that allows a minimum of 5K shots which can be replaced when needed. A built in "snap cap" device protects your firing pin, so no additional equipment needed. A sleep mode is included in every cap, to insure long battery life. This is the most robust and accurate laser in the market.
Although technologically advance, the SureStrikeTM laser is very easy to use. just add the included battery, tread the cap, Load the SureStrikeTM laser cartridge in your firearm, and start training at the convenience of your own home!
Ideal to combine with the LaserPET II, i-MTTS targets, and even Smokeless Range™ shooting simulator for immediate feedback and wide array of drills.
Use one laser and rotate the cylinder between each shot, or fill it up and "fire" away, as we also offer 5 & 6 packs as well!

There is no need to use the safety pipe and nut with a 38 Special/ 357 cartridge.
Please note that in some cases, the cylinder of some revolvers may not be aligned with the barrel. In cases like this, the laser may shoot lower than the barrel.
Follow step 2 on the user guide, this product is a cap-type installation.

I knew exactly what I was looking for but I really liked the variety they have. I wish I had read commonly asked questions first before finalizing my order as I would have went with the red laser rather than the IR but that was my mistake. I have yet to use the product but everything was received as planned. I plan using this item to improve my issues with recoil for my Skills training. Overall a very smooth ordering/receiving process from start to finish.

Glad that you found the Q&A helpful, sorry that you feel that it was a little too late. I'm sure you will find out that the IR will still provide you a lot of training options, especially if you have any of our targets. Sometimes looking for where you hit can be a poor habit, versus looking at the front sights. Either way, you are doing better than most and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
