Dip your toes into the world of laser-based dry fire training with our patented SureStrike™ 9mm IR (InfraRed / invisible) laser cartridge.
The SureStrike™ IR laser cartridge is easy to get started dry firing with. Just insert the included battery into the cartridge, place into your 9mm pistol of choice using our included user guide, and start training anywhere, obviously keeping the basic safety rules in mind.
Once in place, squeeze the trigger, the firing pin activates the SureStrike™ to emit an eye-safe non-visible laser pulse which simulates the point of impact thus causing your reactive target to light up and beep. For this reason, we recommend pairing the SureStrike™ 9mm IR cartridge with the LaserPET II™ or other reactive training aids for the most effective and reactive marksmanship training.
The SureStrike™ IR cartridge adds an extra layer of difficulty by using an infrared laser instead of a red visible laser. Without a visible laser indicator you must trust your sight picture like you would during live fire.
Even though the IR laser cartridge is invisible, please rest assured that all of Laser Ammo's laser cartridges are eye safe (Class 1) laser lights and are safe to use with your regular dry fire practice. Be sure to double check chamber for ammo and practice safe firearms handling at all times.
The SureStrike™ lasers are made in Israel, built from a stainless steel body, a high quality glass lens laser and a programed controlled action cap - that allows a minimum of 5K shots which can be replaced when needed, at an affordable price. A built in "snap cap" device protects your firing pin, so no additional equipment needed. A sleep mode is included in every cap, to insure long battery life. Adapters are available for 10mm, 40, 45ACP or GAP, 357, 44 Magnum or 45 Long Colt. We understand many may have the need to practice for home defense, duty, hunting or other personal preference, so we also have adapters for your various rifle calibers (such as but not limited to.308, .223, .556) as well as adapters for your shotgun needs (such as 12 and 20 gauge) to allow you to train with those as well.
