You have the freedom of choice. If your carry gun is a different model from one of the Recoil Enabled Training Pistols we offer, use the spider to train! With the Spider Kit you can convert any blowback gun with tactical rail (like Airsoft, Airguns, UTM or Simunition) to shoot lasers for a quality and safe tactical training! The Spider Kit device can be removed and installed easily for training and go time!
The Spider Kit includes the SPIDER adapter that can be attached in seconds on any tactical / picatinny rails, and your choice of Red or IR SureStrike™ 9mm Vibration Cartridge!
Pair your Spider Kit with with one of Laser Ammo's targets - LaserPET or iMTTSor step it up to the Smokeless Range® shooting simulator.
**If you are using the Smokeless Range® Simulator with the SPIDER, we require the use of an IR Laser.
Airsoft gun not included.
The SPIDER only works with full blowback guns, does not work with "spring loaded" airsoft guns.

If I understand your question properly...and you already have the REAL conversion barrel, which already has the laser, you shouldn't need the Spider Kit.
However, the retaining collar in the Spider kit is the same as the one in the barrel, but you would need the vibration backcap to activate it.
The Spider kit is meant to attach to any tactical / picatinny rail of an airsoft or recoil gun that doesn't already have our laser or conversion barrel.
