You are talking about two different products here, so let's be sure we explain.

These batteries are for the SureStrike lasers only, and they must remain wrapped in the blue plastic. You can use them for the optic laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG However, the SureStrikeMAG itself is rechargeable and the magazine alone does not need batteries. Further, the SureStrike lasers that do work stand alone and the laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG are not the same thus not interchangeable. Similarly, the prior… See full answer »

The SureStrike laser takes our 3pk shrink wrapped LR726 batteries. (Do not take apart).

The actual magazine is rechargeable and as stated in the description, your purchase includes the USB- C cable charger. When fully charged, it will last several days per charge w/ moderate to heavy use.

There is a small light at the top of the Magazine that emits an IR light when the triggers pulled that activates the optic back cap on the laser.

Yes, you should be able to mount on the single stack magazine on the bottom of the magazine.

Reminder, we have a 30 day return policy if it doesn't work for you.

The MAG has been tested with a G23 with Apex trigger, but we haven't had it tested on the 43. We do have a 30 day return for refund policy if you try it out and it doesn't work.

Hey there, sorry for the delay as I wanted to confirm with DryFireMag as well. One of our team has it and said they didn't have a problem, but to confirm, DFM indicated that it will work. However, the spring on the DryFireMag should be removed and the settings on the mag may need to be adjusted further. Hope that helps.

Your question is posed on the Single Stack SureStrikeMAG, which only works for the 9mm 43x and 48. You would need the Double Stack SureStrikeMAG AND the .40 SW caliber adapter, which is noted in the description below the image of the double stack mag. And it also states there that it is compatible with your 40 caliber G23. Hopefully that helps and if you have further questions, contact us at support@laserammo.com
