This battery pack is compatible with ALL SureStrike™ cartridges EXCLUDING the Makarov.

Batteries less then 4V will not activate the laser properly and need to be replaced. 

Nominal Voltage : 1.50V (each battery), 4.5V for Battery Pack.  Standard Capacity : 27mAh ( continuously discharge at 20±2℃ under 22kΩ to 0.9V end-point voltage ) Approximate Weight : 1.15g 

The battery pack purchase includes:

3 packs of LR726 batteries, shrink wrapped* for ease of use

*DO NOT remove shrink wrap - shrink wrap is to remain on upon installation into your laser.

What type of battery replacement in the newer cartridge and magazine type or (can you purchase more battery). I have the older rest set trigger type, I’m thinking of getting the newest cartridge and magazine type. See more »

You are talking about two different products here, so let's be sure we explain.

These batteries are for the SureStrike lasers only, and they must remain wrapped in the blue plastic. You can use them for the optic laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG However, the SureStrikeMAG itself is rechargeable and the magazine alone does not need batteries.
