I have a Mantis Laser, but I'm looking for something more consistent than a laser cartridge. Will this work with the Mantis Laser? See more »
1 year ago
No, the Mantis laser is not compatible. All of our recoil-enabled training pistols come equipped and designed for use with the SureStrike laser in red or IR.

Can the SureStrike Laser cartridge that comes with this training gun be taken out and also used in a 9mm pistol? Do I need to buy an adapter? See more »

All the Sure Strike lasers that come with our training pistols (ATLP or any Recoil Enabled Pistol) will not work to dry fire with your own firearm. The ATLP's lasers are not removable and the lasers for the recoil pistols have a back cap that require recoil to activate. You are able to purchase a separate Dry Fire Action back cap to replace the Vibration Action back cap that comes with the recoil laser and that will allow you to use it with your own firearm to dryfire. Feel free to give us a call at 516-865-1335 anytime Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm Central time and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I want to train without the recoil at times and do not want to rack the slide to reset the trigger See more »

Yes, the Recoil Enabled Training Pistols do require the gas and recoil to operate the laser for training. We do offer the SurestrikeMag for training without recoil in your personal firearm. Please review each of the descriptions for pistol compatibility.

No. Our Recoil Enabled Training Pistols feature the Surestrike Cartridge REAL, equipped with vibration-activated lasers. These lasers rely on the gun's recoil to fire reliably.

All of our recoil enabled training pistols come with one magazine, for the exception of the 1911 Training Pistol, which comes with 2 magazines.

You may purchase extra magazines for our recoil guns on our website.

The internals of our recoil enabled firearms (airsoft) function differently than a real pistol and are different, you can still break down the slide and barrel for regular maintenance.

Please note: the warranty is provided by the manufacturer, which is 3 months. So review the user guide and manufacturer warranty before you do anything outside maintenance that could potentially void their warranty.

How many shots should I expect from a co2 seems like it goes through it very quickly See more »

You should get around 30 shots with a regular shooting cadence. Rapid firing the pistol will expel more gas and cause you to lose shot capacity.

The red laser is a visible laser and the IR laser is invisible. Here is a video, from under our support, that will show you the difference.

If you are using a recoil enabled firearm on the Smokeless Range, you MUST use the IR laser option.
