The Shot Body System (SBS) is a wearable sensor system that relies on Laser Ammo’s proprietary laser technology. It is specifically designed for force-on-force acenarios, active shooter simulations, and decision-making shooting exercises. The SBS system provides immediate feedback on shot placement and shooter identification, thereby aiding users in refining their techniques when responding to potential threats. The sensors can be attached to a person’s clothing, outer vest or uniform. Using one of Laser Ammo’s Recoil Enabled Training Firearms, the system effectively replicates real-life conditions when addressing threats.
It is a really fun concept. Everyone that plays with the range is amazed by it. I grew up with duck hunt on Nintendo, instant nostalgia when using the trap shooting program. The best thing so far is my wife's family is from California, most of them have never touched a gun before. So this is a very useful training tool for beginners. It establishes confidence without a huge amount of risk or fear, but the fear factor is still a strong apect, especially with the gas blowback recoil when they do make a mistake.
So happy to hear you all enjoyed it and this is part of the purpose.. to introduce folks who have never handled a firearm to do so in a safe area, get to feel more comfy without the noise of live rounds of possibly many folks shooting in a range at one time and 100% of the recoil.
