Licensed by CZ and modified by Laser Ammo the ASG CZ Shadow 2 Recoil Enabled Training Pistol includes our custom REAL conversion barrel with high quality SureStrikeTM vibration laser cartridge.
Designed by top tier competition shooters, this recoil enabled training pistol is well balanced and made for speed and precision. The Shadow 2 will fit in most existing holsters, allowing you to practice your draw just as you would during competition.
Featuring the popular features of the real deal, the slide is crafted out of anodized aluminum and features a less rounded and more angled design with a slight weight increase due to a wider slide. The added weight and design of the slide aids in managing recoil and thus improves overall accuracy.
A new grip angle cut deeper at the beavertail, as well as an undercut at the trigger guard also promotes optimal grip and recoil management. The enlarged magazine catch is adjustable with 3 available positions to be set using only a hex key.
The outward profile of magazine catch gives the shooter a positive confirmation when pressing the mag catch. The recoil spring guide is made out of stainless steel for durability. The Shadow 2 comes with a fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight. Powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge located in the magazine, the Shadow 2 delivers realistic recoil for optimal training. This Shadow 2 will fit in most existing holsters, allowing you to practice your draw just as you would during a match.
The CZ Shadow 2 Recoil Enabled Training Pistol is customizable with either a visible red or Invisible IR SureStrikeTM vibration activated laser cartridge for a great training session with our reactive targets like the i-MTTS or the Smokeless Range® shooting simulator.
*Must choose IR laser if you plan on using with Smokeless Range® simulator.
We recommend removing the battery from the laser at the end of every training session for optimal battery life.
Recoil Enabled CZ Shadow 2 Training Pistol (CO2) 
The 9mm laser bullet worked perfectly when I received it. But after only 5 days it changed from the pinpoint laser to displaying a large red "splash" of light, and then quit working altogether! I have initiated a return/replacement but I have to say that I am quite disappointed in this. I gave 3 stars for customer service because I asked for a replacement to be sent to me right away but was told I had to send in the defective one first. At a cost of 3 times of what I have paid for a similar product I had high hopes for a superior unit. I realize that despite good quality control any company can have a defective unit slip through, it was still pretty disappointing. I hope this gets resolved quickly.
Update - Hey Ernie, I see that you updated your review and not happy about your experience. We 100% agree being frustrated when something doesn't work. I understand that you spoke with Rob, who indicated he would figure out if there was an issue with the laser/components and fix and return or if there was a faulty laser as you noted is a possibility in which case we would replace it with a new one. I'm sure you agree and understand that just sending new products out when there is a testing process to see IF it can be fixed - bad batteries, bad laser, faulty back cap versus a whole new product. Sorry that you had to wait for the fix/replacement but rest assured you will get a superior product back in your hands soon, so you can practice for your upcoming matches.
