Description

Even though the IR laser cartridge is invisible, please rest assured that all of Laser Ammo's laser cartridges are eye safe (Class 1) laser lights and are safe to use with your regular dry fire practice. Be sure to double check chamber for ammo and practice safe firearms handling at all times.

The SureStrike™ lasers are made in Israel, built from a stainless steel body, a high quality glass lens laser and a programed controlled action cap - that allows a minimum of 5K shots which can be replaced when needed, at an affordable price.  A built in "snap cap" device protects your firing pin, so no additional equipment needed. A sleep mode is included in every cap, to insure long battery life. This is the most robust and accurate laser in the market, not to mention patented.

Consider purchasing a reactive target such as the LaserPET II™ for the most effective training needs. This immediate feedback from the SureStrike™ laser transforms plain dry fire practice into a powerful training session.

Laser Ammo does offer a variety of caliber adapters to allow you to use this laser cartridge on your different firearms. Adapters are available for 10mm, 40, 45ACP or GAP, 357, 44 Magnum or 45 Long Colt. We understand many may have the need to practice for home defense, duty, hunting or other personal preference, so we also have adapters for your various rifle calibers (such as but not limited to.308, .223, .556) as well as adapters for your shotgun needs (such as 12 and 20 gauge) to allow you to train with those as well.

  • User guide
  • Note: The IR cartridge does not include reflective targets (only the visible red cartridge)

Hey there Kevin, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. On your comment, do you not already have the 9mm laser cartridge that this adapter goes onto If not you can get that here. If you do, then can you advise what adapter you are wishing you had ~Kristen

What type of battery replacement in the newer cartridge and magazine type or (can you purchase more battery). I have the older rest set trigger type, I’m thinking of getting the newest cartridge and magazine type. See more »

You are talking about two different products here, so let's be sure we explain.

These batteries are for the SureStrike lasers only, and they must remain wrapped in the blue plastic. You can use them for the optic laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG However, the SureStrikeMAG itself is rechargeable and the magazine alone does not need batteries. Further, the SureStrike lasers that do work stand alone and the laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG are not the same thus not interchangeable. Similarly, the prior… See full answer »

Does the battery discharge when not used since keeping a wireless connection to the magazine? See more »

The SureStrike laser takes our 3pk shrink wrapped LR726 batteries. (Do not take apart).

The actual magazine is rechargeable and as stated in the description, your purchase includes the USB- C cable charger. When fully charged, it will last several days per charge w/ moderate to heavy use.

There is a small light at the top of the Magazine that emits an IR light when the triggers pulled that activates the optic back cap on the laser.

Yes, the SureStrikeMAG will work with the Smokeless Range.

Is the mag sized as a 15 or 17rd? See more »

The mag is flush when inserted into a full size P320/M17.

One of our in house users said it was the same size as their 15 round P320 mags.

However, if you get it and there are any issues, we have a 30 day return policy if it doesn't work for you.

Would the SureStrike IR laser from the LaserPET II be compatible with the Glock doublestack SureStrikeMag with a red laser? See more »

Yes, you can swap them out as long as you use the back cap that came with the red laser for the SureStrike Mag on the IR laser.

I'm sorry, I am not understanding the question? The product you are asking a question on is the Sig P320 SureStrikeMAG which ONLY works with the compatible models, as stated on the website:

Does the Smart DryFireMag reset the trigger, allowing me to practice with my Sig 320's actual trigger pull for improved trigger control, or does it only activate the laser? My goal is to practice using the real trigger pull. See more »
6 months ago
Yes, you pull the trigger which activates the spring/electronics in the mag to "hit" the optic backcap of the laser in your Sig. You can continuously pull the trigger for multiple 'shots' and not have to manually rack the slide.

However, to your point, the "trigger pull" is actually contained within the magazine mechanism and simulates an actual trigger pull.

Will this work properly in a Sig P320 full size with X series Grip Module. Apex Forward Set Trigger Kit installed including the Over-Travel Stop. See more »

Hey there, due to your more in depth question and instead of saying, it should and if it doesn't, you can return it, I reached out to DFM who has dealt with the mag much longer in their original DFM and they indicated it would not due to the short stop. Here is a video to explain it more in depth. Sorry and hope that helps explain.
